David joined D.A. Davidson in February 2014. Prior to his arrival, he worked for Laird Norton Wealth Management in Seattle. He graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor's degree and has a law degree from Seattle University School of Law. As a financial advisor, David strives for exceptional client service as he focuses on the needs of the individual, customizing and defining a plan for the future. His skills as an advisor include investment management techniques across numerous equity, fixed income, and alternative investment products, as well as proficient use of financial planning software tools. Whether planning for retirement, applying 529 education savings programs, or utilizing estate planning resources to grow and protect wealth for future generations, David's services come with a promise of hard work, dedication to clients, and a passion for helping clients achieve financial success. David lives in Bellevue with his wife, Whitney, and son, Colton.

Working in conjunction with David is Karen Cole, a Senior Registered Associate. Together they form a strong financial professional team with knowledge and skills to provide thorough advice and analysis on financial planning issues.  Karen joins us from Texas.  Her background includes over 25 years of experience in the financial industry.  She began her career with D.A. Davidson in March of 1997 through October of 2013 and she rejoined the firm in April, 2022.  She has a broad knowledge of the industry focusing on operations with an extensive knowledge of working with and supporting Financial Advisors and their teams.  Though she lives in Texas, she visits the Northwest often where her daughter, Isabella, still resides.
